Hello everyone. It seems that I have been spending a lot of time on my other blog and not nearly enough time here. Sorry! I have been creating several Lenormand decks and my focus seems to be there for now although I did just receive a proof for my latest Tarot deck. (photos to come) I thought that I would share a recent post from that blog here. Blessings and light all!
How do you use your cards…
Last night I was up very late with lots of things on my mind. Since it was clear that I wasn’t going to get much sleep if I didn’t at least try to sort some things out, I grabbed my Red Leaf Lenormand deck and headed for the kitchen table. I lit some candles and tried to focus. I decided that a grand tableau would be best because you can get so much information from it. I started laying out the top row and and the end of the first row was the woman card. Hmmmm everything on my mind and in the past. Ok I get it. I decided to try a little different approach for some clarity. I found the woman card and put it in the middle of the spread. Above that card I placed cards for “House” “Job” and “Love”, below me a card for “Obstacles” and a card to the right for “what will help”. WOW! Talk about answers, I certainly got some. I pulled some more cards for clarification as I went along. It was all very clear. I am all for the grand tableau but sometimes another approach beckons. I used the one word/pictograph method and it went well. So all of that said, do any of you use your cards for anything other than the grand tableau? Please share your results.
