Hello.
I just got back from a vacation with the family. It was a short visit but nice just the same. I went to a family dinner and before I had been there for very long I got a request from my aunt for a reading. I had 6 or 7 decks with me so I said “sure why not”. I did a simple mind, body, spirit reading for her. It didn’t answer her question the way that she wanted it answered so we did another, and another until we had gone through every deck. She was looking for something very specific, one answer to give her justification for whatever action she had in mind to take. The same cards kept coming up time after time but she didn’t like that answer. She just didn’t get it. She WAS receiving a very clear message… it made me think of the saying, “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink”. Another family member wanted a reading so I let her chose a deck. The reading went well and she was surprised and happy with its accuracy. My aunt wanted another reading. I explained to her that she had gotten her answer. I wasn’t making predictions or telling her the future, hey I don’t roll that way lol. After we left I couldn’t stop thinking about my aunt, she was so desperate for good news, news that she wanted to hear in a certain way, that we would have let me sit and do readings for her all night just to get the answer that she wanted. What she got was the message that she needed. She was looking right at her answer and denying it. It made me a little sad. Have you ever done a reading for someone that turned out like this?
